Entrance fees are to be paid by crossed cheque made payable to “Royal Varuna Yacht Club”, in cash or by credit card. Entrance fees must be paid at the time of application, should an application be rejected; the entrance fee will be returned to the applicant.
Subscription fees and other on-going fees: in order to simplify administration and reduce administration costs, members are required to make payments for subscription fees and other on-going fees (rack fees, locker fees, box fees, and long term accommodation rental) by direct debit to their bank account by exception and with prior approval of the Treasurer, a standing Banker’s Order.
Applicants for Junior Participant Scheme should complete the application form and should have completed and signed the Authorisation and Undertaking form by their father/mother/legal guardian (Annex 1 can be obtained from the club reception).
The completed forms, including 2 passport-size photographs should be sent to: Royal Varuna Yacht Club, 286 Moo 12 Pratamnak Road, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi 20150 or be handed to the Club Manager or reception.
The applicant shall be contacted by the Membership Secretary who will invite the applicant for a brief meeting. Our Membership Secretary can be contacted on [email protected]
The applicant shall have permission to use the Club’s facilities for a period of one month while waiting for final approval by the General Committee. The applicant will be required to pay the regular guest fee.
The application will be referred to the next monthly meeting of the General Committee of the Club. If the application is accepted, the member will be notified. A membership card will be sent together with a copy of the By-laws and Constitution and other general information on the Club.
Request for renting in a boat rack should be submitted to the General Manager indicating the type of boat before bringing the boat into club premises.
The applicant may be required to assist the Race Officer during Club sailing events.
